Glassworks are always exceptional as they always standout amongst others just like the Glasswork of Shayna Leib that will be featured by Habatat Galleries Michifan on November 4-6, 2011 at the SOFA in Navy Pier.
To complete this unique artwork, the artists uses 30-50 feet segment of cane glass and cuts it into segments according to shape and length. After the cutting job, the artist then started the tedious job of building the actual sculpture, which cost her 45 minutes for each 2 square inch area of the sculpture. If you come to think of it, to complete this eye-catching grass-like glasswork of Shayna Leib, days and even months are surely spent.
