Built in a 100 acres unspoiled bush land just right next to a national park, the Johanna House resembles of a contemporary and experimental version of a timber house near a ski resort if you have to look at it from below mainly because of its wonderful fireplace that is being place right at the heart of the living area. Simple yet sleek furniture designed from Sequoia Studio is the Bahia and Yu. Nicolas Milan designs the Bahia, a sunbath created for outdoor use. Perfect for those who loves sunbathing with style, for the Bahia is sleek with its concrete structure made of white Corian that serves as the supporting foot. You need not to worry of its cushions cleanliness because it is totally removable and washable. On the other hand, the Yu is a contemporary chair that works best both indoor and outdoor. Designed by Pascal Bardel, the Yu is made of cast in one-piece white polyethylene. Its cushion of four colors is washable, which made it easy to clean.
Designer Juampi Sammartino from Argentina came up to a unique design intended for urban seating. The product is called Cisca. It is made from concrete and plates. The design look elegant, but I guess it is not comfortable enough to sit in there. The platform is not plain for you to feel comfortable and relaxed. However, for design purposes, Cisca is very elegant and is perfect for any contemporary home or office. The pot for plants adds the feeling of being with nature. Cisca Seat looks like a caterpillar crawling towards the plants, and because of this, the Cisca will never look dull even if nobody’s sitting on it. - via
Designed by FormInFunktion, TUBB is a concrete deep basin that has a drainage transition piece. The basin has a towel rail that us easy to fold out when needed and will simply disappear into side when not in use. TUBB has a dimension of 270 x 460 x 370 mm. With its concrete materials, I think this basin is good for outdoor use. I will not prefer to wash the dishes with this basin for there might be a tendency for the dishes to slide and break eventually. However, what is good about this product is that since it is made of concrete materials, it till not easily brake and will have a longer life compared to others.
