Modern floor lamp design encourages me to get one for my home. I am not really into these type of lighting because I am already satisfied with my lamps. However, seeing this beautiful resemblance of the traditional Korean “chong-sa-chorong” lamps called the Chorong Floor Lamp by Joongho Choi reallt inspires me to get one. Just like the traditional chorong lamp, Choi’s version is also hung from a pole but in an all metal and had an adjustable base that can be pivoted to any directions you wanted. Available in two types, the chorong type2 uses LED light while the type1 uses a regular light bulb. -via
